Redmi announced on their official Weibo account that the Redmi Note 7 Pro  will be their first smartphone to feature the latest Snapdragon 675 chipset which was only released last October which makes this smartphone one of the first to have this chipset.

Xiaomi’s final product reveal of the year, which takes place tomorrow (24 November 2015) has given us the last tease. And it has revealed that the speculated Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro is actually a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, but wait...wasn't the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 just released a few months back? Well yes, and we're getting a Redmi Note 3 because...why not? 

Xiaomi co-founder Lin Bin recently posted a Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro picture on his Weibo, possibly to get the customers hyped and teasing us with the announce event that is coming soon on 24 November 2015. The Redmi Note 2 Pro is a superior version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, and it’s made of metal, has a fingerprint scanner and is also .5mm thicker too. Below are the tech specs:-

• Octa-core 2GHz CPU, MediaTek MT6795
• 2/3GB RAM
• 16GB internal storage 
• 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution

Pictures of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro were leaked online yesterday with rumours of the chassis build in a metal form casing. It was also speculated that it will come in two versions, one with a fingerprint sensor and the other without one. On the other hand, it’s said that it will follow the same tech specs of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, so the tech specs are more or less likely to be:-

• Octa-core 2.2GHz CPU, the PowerVR G6200 GPU and MediaTek MT6795 SoC 
• 2GB RAM
• 32GB storage
• 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution
• 13MP main and a 5MP front-facing camera
• Android 5.1 or Android 6.0 
• 3060mAh battery
