With tablets becoming a thing again, many brands have been starting to make new ones. Nokia is one of them, announcing the Nokia T20 back in October. Well, this entry-level tablet will be making its way to Malaysia soon.

With how saturated the smartphone market, it's hard to stand out these days. HMD Global has tried hard to popularise its Nokia smartphones, though success has been elusive so far. However, the company could be working on a new flagship that's coming this year.

Starting from today, the Nokia 3.1 will now be available at all authorised Nokia retail stores in Malaysia at the price of RM655 and it comes in 3 different colour schemes which is the Blue and Copper, White and Iron, Black and Chrome. Package without Android One and a 18:9 aspect ratio display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the Nokia 3.1 is running on a MediaTek 6750, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front facing selfie camera, 5.2-inch HD+ display, and it is powered by a 2990mAh battery. Officially launched in China, the Nokia X6 will be priced at RMB1299(~RM808) for the 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, RMB1499(~RM932) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and lastly, RMB1699(~RM1056) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. The Nokia X6 will be the first smartphone by the manufacturer to include a display notch at the top of the device.

There will be two different models of the Nokia X6 which will be launching on the 27 April 2018 in China and they both will feature a 5.8-inch bezel-less display and a dual vertical camera with Carl Zeiss lens. The prices of these devices go for RMB1600 (~RM991) and RMB1800 (~RM1115) for the Helio P60 model and Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 respectively.

On 25 February 2018, HMD Global will be having another MWC 2018 conference in Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Arts and have started sending invitations (no, we didn't get one lol). With this, Nokia is probably launching something new for the market, could we see a new Nokia 9? Or maybe a bunch of mid-range 2018 phone variants just like the Nokia 6 (2018)?

According to TENAA, China's official regulator association, it seems that HMD Global will be releasing one of the first new phones of 2018. The phone that will be released is the Nokia 6 (2018) and it will be revealed on 5 January, most likely in China first since its predecessor first made its debut in China in December 2016.
