Astro today announced that in line with its promise to deliver the best viewing experience to customers, it is adding 4 new streaming apps to its Ulti Box. These include the iQIYI, TVBAnywhere+, beIN SPORTS CONNECT and BBC Player apps.

Previously, we reported that Astro was planning to add more international streaming services to its platform and true to its words, Malaysia’s number one entertainment service today announced that several streaming services are now available on its Ultra Box. These include beIN SPORTS CONNECT, iQIYI and TVBAnywhere+.

Today, Yoodo announced a new partnership with iQiyi to give Malaysians an attractive promo deal. At just RM1 per month, Yoodo users can now experience a brand new 20GB iQiyi add-on and stream their favourite Asian movies, TV shows and many more. 

To fight against digital piracy, Finas (National Film Development Corporation Malaysia) is collaborating with iQiyi on a campaign titled #JanganTontonHaram. The objective of this campaign is to encourage the public to tackle issues such as content theft. As a reward, iQiyi will be giving out prizes including the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max to the selected winners.

As Malaysians stream more videos online during this year thanks to the pandemic, Maxis just announced that all Maxis Postpaid, Hotlink Prepaid and Hotlink Postpaid users will be able to enjoy one-month free iQIYI VIP access with additional 10GB data. Of course, you will have to sign up with iQIYI on Maxis TV for the first time.
