In conjunction with the introduction of the Disney+ Hotstar app appearing on the Astro Ulti Box, Astro is also pleased to introduce some new updates for the Ultra and Ulti Boxes, as well as Astro Go. Astro users can now make use of the Multi-User profile, thumbnail viewing, search enhancements and launching Netflix directly.

Just last night (19 April), Astro's services - Astro Go and On-Demand went offline due to technical issues. However, it seems that both services are now restored before 9 AM this morning. If you own either one of them, you can check if the service is alright now or restart the devices.

Today, Astro just announced that all the subscribers will have a free preview of all its movies and Korean channels on TV and Astro Go. The company just recently won a couple of awards at the Putra Brand Awards 2021 so as a gesture of goodwill, the free viewing will begin on 29 January until 6 February 2022.

Today, Astro has finally announced that Netflix is now officially on Astro TV. Besides that, there is also an all-new Astro pack designed for customers, allowing them to stream all the shows on Ultra Box and soon, Ulti Box alongside Disney+ Hotstar, HBO Go, iQIYI, TVBAnywhere+ and more.

Update - Astro have also extended their complimentary viewing!
Nope, this is not an April's Fool joke. Astro will be reorganizing the numbers on their channel on 1 April 2020. According to their PR statement, this is to provide their Astro customers with a better viewing experience including Astro GO and NJOI (really?). Anyway, since there are more than 100 HD channels, the company will move them to higher positions.
