Malaysia’s Communications Ministry has been busy lately. Yesterday, Alexander Nanta Linggi from Gabungan Parti Sarawak had a meeting with Communications Minister YB Fahmi Fadzil over the matter of unstable mobile signals and interrupted calls along major highways. It seems that the government is launching a focused initiative to improve connectivity nationwide.

As if HUAWEI hasn't suffered enough consequences from the trade ban, a new issue has come with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) made an official announcement to order telecom providers in the United States to remove all equipment from HUAWEI and ZTE. The announcement was posted by FCC's official Twitter account on 11 December.

As owners of the first LTE-A network in the world, SK Telecom have approached Apple with the intention of having LTE-A support in an Apple iPhone device. Since the next iPhone to come out from Apple would be the iPhone 5S it would make it the next smartphone to have LTE-A support (and offer SK Telecom another LTE-A device for those LTE-A users who don't like the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A).
