The next standard for Wi-Fi connectivity, Wi-Fi 7 will debut in the second half of 2024 and is set to feature up to 2.4 times faster peak speeds compared to the current standard. While we are some time away from Wi-Fi 7’s release, it seems likely that the Samsung Galaxy S24 will be one of the first devices to feature this next-gen connectivity.

Besides releasing the 12S series, 12 Pro Dimensity Edition and the Book Pro 2022 laptops yesterday, Xiaomi also announced a new tri-band mesh router. Called the Xiaomi HomeWiFi, this router impressively offers coverage of up to 1500m².

At the GDC Showcase, the VP and general manager of Client XPU Products and Solutions at Intel, Roger Chandler, has shown off something that AMD should worry about. In a session, Chandler has demoed the performance of the upcoming 8-core Tiger Lake laptop CPU with it running a game at 5GHz across multiple cores.
