    Lenovo unveils the world's first 5G-capable laptop at Computex 2019

    During the Computex 2019 which is held in Taipei of Taiwan, Lenovo has unveiled the world’s very first 5G-capable laptop with a theoretical download speed from anywhere between 1Gbps to 10Gbps. This allows it to stream up to 8k media and AR/VR content, with little to no latency as well as higher stability.

    Earlier today, telco companies such as Celcom, Maxis, U Mobile, DiGi and more have showcased their 5G solutions in Putrajaya earlier today. At the test bed, many of the telcos gave a brief introduction to the 5G technology as well as the benefits that this new network will bring such as higher bandwidth with speeds of up to or even more than 1.6Gbps, lower latency, greater stability, better reception in a crowded area and so on. The network has also been used to conduct a remote brain surgery, in which the surgeon and the patient were more than 3000km apart.

    What a hectic week, as we mentioned from our previous Newsbytes, there were several new smartphones launches over the past two weeks and the biggest highlight is obviously the Huawei P30 Series, which has a crazy zoom in feature that can go up to 50x with the P30 Pro, whereas the P30 can go up to 30x.
