Update - Astro have also extended their complimentary viewing!
Nope, this is not an April's Fool joke. Astro will be reorganizing the numbers on their channel on 1 April 2020. According to their PR statement, this is to provide their Astro customers with a better viewing experience including Astro GO and NJOI (really?). Anyway, since there are more than 100 HD channels, the company will move them to higher positions.

Just last Wednesday, our Prime Minister Muhyiddin officially extended the Movement Control Order (MCO) for everyone's benefit in hopes to minimize the COVID-19 spread. During his second live telecast last Friday, he also mentioned that Malaysians will be receiving their 1GB free Internet data starting from 1 April, but didn't say how. Thankfully, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released an official statement about this a few hours ago so here's the full breakdown.

Earlier, Astro has announced all Astro customers will be getting complimentary access to all movie channels on the platform from 18 to 31 March 2020. Today, the broadcasting company has brought another piece of good news which is Astro Sports Pack customers will get to watch all Astro channels for free until 30 April 2020!

Due to the Movement Restriction Order, Astro has officially announced that they will be offering free movie channels for all Astro customers from now until 31 March 2020 at 11:59PM. All these movie channels will also be available for viewing on the Astro Go app which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store.
