ASUS Malaysia has officially announced that you can get the ASUS ROG Phone 3 series, which includes the ASUS ROG Phone 3, as well as the ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition, at up to RM400 off. However, do note that the promo period starts from 10 December 2020 until 4 January 2021, so act fast if you’re interested in getting the aforementioned smartphone series.

Starting from 1 November until 31 December 2020, stand a chance to win an ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad worth RM499 when you purchase the ASUS ROG Phone 3 during the promo period. In a collaboration between ASUS ROG and Gameloft, mobile game titles such as Asphalt® 9: Legends, Modern Combat 5: Blackout, Dungeon Hunter 5 and Dungeon Hunter Champions are being optimized in order to take advantage of the ROG Phone 3 series’ 144Hz display. But that’s not all, all the aforementioned games will be optimized to take advantage of the ROG TwinView Dock 3 in order to display more information to the player.

The ASUS ROG Phone 3 is yet to arrive in Malaysia but while we wait, it seems that the folks from XDA-Developers just discovered that there is a hidden 160Hz refresh rate mode inside. For your information, the gaming phone is supposed to support up to 144Hz refresh rate only and there's a way to activate the 160Hz refresh rate mode. 

The ASUS ROG Phone 3 features a Snapdragon 865+ chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB Internal Storage. There’s also a 6.59-inch AMOLED display that supports 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch-sampling rate, and HDR10+. With this, the ROG Phone 3 display currently has the lowest latency in the market.
