While we still don’t know what sweet thing Android Q will get named after yet, you’ll be able to try it out first if you have an ASUS ZenFone 5Z ZS620KL. ASUS Malaysia recently announced that it is available in developer mode as part of their ZenFone 5Z Android Q Beta program. This should be particularly useful for developers looking to develop or adapt their apps for the upcoming Android Q, but those who are curious about it may still try it out and share their feedback.

The ASUS Zenfone 6 is due to be launched next week on the 16th of May. It has some pretty significant upgrades from its predecessor, the ASUS Zenfone 5z. Among features to look out for on the device is the Snapdragon 855 chipset, the 48MP main camera, a whopping 5000mAh battery capacity and a triple card slot.

ASUS is planning on launching their ASUS Zenfone 6 on the 16th of May. No specs or features had been shared about the device by the Taiwanese company yet but an ASUS smartphone model did surface on Geekbench showing off its tech specs.

ASUS Malaysia is back at it again. In conjunction with Lazada's 9.9 Super Sales this coming long weekend, the company will be putting the ZenFone 5z (6GB + 128GB) and the ZenFone Max Pro M1 (6GB + 64GB) on another flash sale on 9 September 2018 only, for a price of RM1699 and RM899 respectively.

The much rumoured POCO F1 smartphone by Xiaomi has just gone official with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 12MP+5MP AI dual rear camera, 20MP Dual Pixel front camera, infrared face unlock (so it works in the dark) and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage from 20999 INR (~RM1233). Featuring LiquidCool tech in a polycarbonate (basically plastic) body, the POCO F1 also has a 4000 mAh battery and is set for release in India on 29 August 2018. No Malaysian release dates or pricing details yet, but it is expected in Jakarta on 27 August 2018, so it could eventuallly come to Malaysia.
