The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has finally been offered by 4 of the major telcos in Malaysia. Retailing at an RRP of RM2399, each of these telcos in Malaysia is offering the LTE-enabled 32GB version. It is also available at lower prices in our sister site of Mobile Mega Mall.com with discounts up to RM300. Of the 4 major telcos the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch is offered for free as a combo with DiGi, Celcom and Maxis while U Mobile has the smartwatch available for separate purchase at it's Berjaya Times Square branch. While Celcom has already come out with it's Samsung Galaxy Note 3 bundles, those were for 24-month contracts. Looking to add a few more options for their bundles, Celcom have recently added on 12 and 18 month contracts starting from RM1888 and RM1748 respectively. Users still sign up using the Celcom First Prime, Celcom First Premier and Celcom First Elite plans but add on 1GB or 3GB of mobile internet. Celcom has also come out with their deals on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch combo. This time the Note 3 is being offered from RM1538 with the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch only available for free for the first 100 who confirm a booking of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Celcom. To get the deal, you have to sign up for a 24-months contract with the Celcom First plans and an mPro 88 data plan. Check out the full details in the article.

As mentioned in an earlier report, the BlackBerry Z30 has been officially announced here in Malaysia. While it will be available from 5 October 2013, Celcom has exclusive rights over the smartphone for the next 14 days starting from that date. As such Celcom are teasing a number of fairly interesting freebies for those who sign up for a BlackBerry Z30 under a Celcom plan during this 14 day period. This includes a FREE BlackBerry Z10, 2 Alicia Keys concert tickets for KL, free download of Alicia Keys "Girl on Fire" album and an UrbanGears headset for the first 200 subscribers. After the first 200, the next 800 will also get freebies, but what exactly these freebies are still hasn't been announced just yet. So if you're gunning for a BlackBerry Z30, save 5 October 2013 as the day to do so, preferably at a nearby Celcom Bluecube store. Stay tuned and we'll keep you posted.

Celcom is currently offering 2 new devices for their Celcom First plans in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 will be offered from RM888 while the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active will be offered from RM1388. Both are available on the Celcom First voice and / or data plans under 12 month or 18  month contracts.

Both devices offer LTE support but while the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is a dual-core 8-inch tablet, the Galaxy S4 Active is the rugged waterproof version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. The Nokia Lumia 520 remains the most popular Windows Phone device Nokia has to offer, and this time around Celcom are offering it for just RM188. As usual, the smartphone is for the Celcom First plans with a Mobile Internet plan, available under 12 months or 18 months contracts. Fans waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 can now get the 7-inch tablet with cellular capabilities from Celcom for as low as RM549. Knocking down the price by about half from the original retail price of RM1099 the tablet offers entry level to midrange performance with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The tablet is available on the various Celcom First plans with pay-as-you-use voice  and SMS for 12 month or 24 month contracts. For more details check out the table below:

Celcom are currently offering the new LG Optimus G Pro from as low as RM1138, which is good since the original retail price is RM1888. The new full HD smartphone is available for Celcom First users with an additional Mobile Internet plan along with the mPro Plus plan with options for 12, 17 and 24 month contracts.

Just to refresh your memory, the LG Optimus G Pro offers a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p display placing it somewhat in the phablet market. However it does offer a bit more power with a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP rear camera. Celcom is now offering the BlackBerry Q5 from as low as RM888. The subsidized price is available with their Celcom First packages under 12 month and 18 months contracts. For more details regarding these packages check out the table.

With the Nokia Lumia 1020 out and the Nokia Lumia 925 on the way to Malaysia, it was just a matter of time before some telco offered the Nokia Lumia 920 at subsidized prices. Celcom is now offering the Nokia Lumia 920 from as low as RM1198. As usual it is on contract with one of the Celcom First plans plus a Mobile Internet plan. Thankfully, the contracts are available for 12 months and 18 months but you will have to pay an extra advance payment which will be rebated later on.
