Given the recent mobile network report by Opensignal, Digi is celebrating its achievement as Malaysia's fastest download speed mobile network by launching a new #JuaraInternet Deals promotion. The promotion is included across postpaid, prepaid and fibre plans. 

As our economic sector is slowly reopening, Opensignal is back once again with another report on Malaysians' mobile data experience. The last report was done in April 2021 just before the lockdown, so in this latest news - the data gathered was between 1 June until 29 August 2021 based on Celcom, Digi, Maxis, U Mobile and Unifi. 

Today, Digi has officially launched a new JomFibre campaign offering Malaysians to get an unlimited fibre plan with savings of up to RM1200. On top of the subscription, customers who sign up for either one of the plans can bring home a free RM150 Samsung Smart Monitor voucher. The campaign will end on 30 November 2021.

From time to time, we would publish an article comparing all the package plans offered by our four local telcos - Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile. Usually, it would be about the latest iPhones or Samsung Galaxy devices, and some special postpaid plans they would offer. This time, we will be touching on the OPPO Reno6Z 5G and Reno6 5G together. A lot of people are big social media users, especially those who are younger. For the telco companies, this is a group of people that they also want to entice. Now, Digi has something new up its sleeve - a new package targeted at youngsters.

If you missed out on the previous Digi Jaringan Prihatin offer, no worries - they are back. Digi just announced that the programme has been extended until 31 August 2021 for Malaysians who are eligible under the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat requirements. On top of that, two new smartphones have been added to the roster which is the Samsung Galaxy A12 and Xiaomi Redmi 9A. 

Today, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has issued a total of 64 compounds worth RM3.2 million in the second quarter of 2021 to four telcos. Like before, Maxis, U Mobile, Digi and XOX Com got fined due to failure to comply with the numbering plan and electronic addressing as well as non -compliance with the Prepaid Guidelines for end-user registration.

Today, Digi has announced that the Digi Fibre 150 promotion has been extended until 31 July 2021. Not only that, but they have also increased the unlimited data speed from 100Mbps to 300Mbps for the same price tag of RM100 per month. Of course, this is provided if the customer is paired with a Digi Postpaid plan. 

Starting from today onwards until 31 July 2021, Digi just announced that all prepaid customers can enjoy an automatic 10% free credit for each reload they perform via the Digi Store Online or MyDigi app. Moreover, eBelia claimants who reload a minimum of RM30 will stand a chance to win an extra RM50 credit through the Digi eBelia Reload & Win campaign. 

Earlier today, Digi officially announced the Pakej Data Khas Pelajar for students between the age of 12 to 24 years old where they can get 15GB of mobile data that’s valid for up to 30 days for only RM20. But that’s not all, in conjunction with the Jaringan PRIHATIN Programme, parents will be eligible to get RM300 device subsidy for both Digi postpaid and prepaid customers.
