A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Facebook was working on dark mode for Android and iOS. That's not too surprising, considering that we got dark mode for the desktop version in early May, so the mobile version was just a matter of time. Now, sources are claiming that Facebook has already begun testing dark mode for mobile.

Dark mode theme is pretty much on most popular apps nowadays, as well as on iOS and coming soon on some Android user interface platforms. If you're a Google Chrome mobile user, you'd be glad to know that Google is actually working on this for the mobile app version, especially for the Google Search results page. 

Dark mode is a popular feature that many apps and operating systems have offered to users. For instance, vivo smartphone users can enjoy dark mode via FunTouchOS system. WhatsApp and Instagram have also adopted it, then Facebook's new desktop design also lets you choose the option. Oh wait, the Facebook app on both iOS and Android doesn't have one.

Previously, we reported that dark mode is coming soon for WeChat. Well, the wait is finally over and the new update was launched just yesterday but here's the thing - only the iOS version for WeChat has the update. Android WeChat users will have to wait for theirs!

As more online social platforms adapt dark mode, the next one in the list is WeChat. According to sources, the WeChat team from China announced on Weibo that the beta test for Android users is already completed. As for Apple iOS users, the dark mode update is in the plans for the next update (whenever that is). 

Dark mode is everything right now. Not only will it help you to save battery life, but your eyes will also be less stressful too while looking at the dimmed screen. While dark mode has been made available in many apps, there is still one app that we use a lot still haven’t gotten the trending feature yet, and it is WhatsApp. Now, the beta for WhatsApp with dark mode has rolled out to iOS users in the App Store, does that mean it will be coming really soon to everyone?

Since the launch of a system-wide dark mode on both iOS 13 and Android 10, it has brought attention to all the mobile apps developers. After Google Gmail app got updated for the dark mode on Android 10, Twitter has announced the dark mode called “Lights out” to be rolled out to all Android users starting today.

As both iOS 13 and Android 10 introduced a system-wide dark mode earlier, most of the developers have yet to update its apps to accommodate the dark mode, this includes the Gmail app on Android 10. Finally, Google has announced its latest updates, Gmail is now compatible with the Dark Mode for Android 10.

While we are still waiting for Huawei's latest EMUI 10 operating system (OS) update in early September 2019, we managed to get some first look of the upcoming software update and it's going to be a big change compared to the current EMUI 9.1 OS.

Apple did not waste any time by introducing new updates and features on the upcoming iOS 13 in the WWDC 19 event. That said, the iPad owners aren't left out as well and there is a new iPadOS name with plenty of updates. This includes a new way to work in multiple windows, a redesigned Home screen, Apple Pencil usage and more for both consumers and content creators alike.
