Recently, a report from the Thai-based publication The Nation which claimed that Tesla is cancelling its plans to open a factory in Southeast Asian countries and Asia has caught global attention, including in Malaysia. Now, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has revealed information he received from the company on this decision.

Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz has revealed that he will be facilitating a meeting between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. The meeting is aimed at devising a strategy to make Malaysia the Digital Hub of ASEAN.
