Following his ~RM207 billion takeover of Twitter, Elon Musk has laid out several changes to be implemented in the social media platform, including paid account verification. Moreover, given his position on free speech and censorship in the past, many are also expecting Musk to reinstate banned users on Twitter but according to the man himself, this may not happen for at least the next few weeks.

After taking charge of Twitter, Elon Musk started to make changes to the platform without further ado. One of the changes that has been executed is the new Twitter Blue plan. However, when it comes to the list of features offered, editing is nowhere to be found. Therefore, it's suspected that Musk plans to make the edit button free for everyone.

Soon after Elon Musk took over Twitter, reports said that those with a verified account would have to pay a monthly fee. The figure wasn't finalized yet but it's official now, $8 (~RM37) per month will be charged to Twitter users.

Elon Musk has big plans after acquiring Twitter recently. According to the latest report, one of them might be reviving Vine, a short-video-centric app that we had before TikTok.

Previously, we reported that the Elon Musk Twitter takeover has finally taken place, with many of the company’s previous top execs being axed by the world’s richest man as a result. Now, another major change is spicing up the platform, this time in regards to how Twitter will be implementing verified accounts.

After a long and complicated saga, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk has finally completed the takeover of popular social media platform Twitter. The deal costs USD44 billion or ~RM207 billion and also saw the platform’s top executives leave the company.

Elon Musk might compromise and buy Twitter eventually. According to the latest report, the tech mogul isn't planning to take the matter to court by reviving the $44 billion deal, as it could get really messy if involving legal actions. 

Remember how Elon Musk was planning to buy Twitter? Yeah, that's probably not happening anymore. The business magnate first announced his plans to acquire the platform for roughly USD43.4 billion (~RM192.13 billion) back in April. But troubles soon followed and that plan is going down the drain.

Although the Twitter board has decided to sell the social media platform to Elon Musk, it doesn't mean that the ownership will immediately get transferred. Selling such a large company should go through a long process. Until today, the latest information has come stating that deal is now on hold when Musk waits for Twitter to give an accurate number of the existing fake or spam accounts.

If you recall, reports confirmed that Elon Musk successfully acquired Twitter earlier this week. The Tesla founder now has full control of the platform and company, allowing him to dictate policy and direction. Unfortunately, some of those changes might be inconvenient for us.
