When we were sleeping last night, Apple has finally announced the date for their highly-anticipated event where they're going to launch the iPhone 12 series. The event is scheduled to go live on 14 October at 1 AM Malaysia time. Before the event, we've received the latest rumour saying that the entire lineup (not sure if the Pro ones are included) will have a side fingerprint scanner.

Apple's Face ID is probably already doing a good job making sure that their products' users are protected, and it's hard for us to think of which part of the system can be improved. However, it looks like the tech giant has figured it out, as a patent filed by them revealed that the Face ID would be able to map users' veins in the future.

Earlier, we have come across rumours saying that Apple would reveal the first batch of MacBooks that come with ARM-based processors at the upcoming WWDC event. Other than laptops, iMac with a new design is expected to be announced at the event as well. Besides the new design, Apple's desktop computer will also get a technology that is featured on iPhones and iPads for quite some time, and it's the Face ID.

If you're an Apple iPhone user, you would find unlocking your iPhone to be a hassle because of the face mask. Thankfully, the company is working on that and according to reports, the new iOS 13.5 beta will focus on the Face ID as well as "detecting" COVID-19 exposure for the outbreak period. By the way, there's also a new iOS 13.4.1 update patch but we will get to that later.
