Now, GSC will be celebrating the reopening of its premises on 1 July 2020 with free movie screenings.

    So this just came in, according to the latest Twitter post by Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd - they will be closing down GSC Pavilion Kuala Lumpur officially on 17 February 2020. With that, there are still 10 days left for anyone else who would like to visit the cinema before it ceases operation.

    Today, Golden Screen Cinemas has officially launched another 4DX cinema hall. This would be the company's third one at GSC IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, following the other two that are currently playing in GSC Paradigm JB and GSC 1Utama, with the latter recently launched in December 2018.

    Samsung Malaysia Electronics launched the arrival of Malaysia's first Samsung Onyx Cinema LED screen at Golden Screen Cinemas Mid Valley Megamall today. Featuring a 33.8 feet wide and 16.4 feet high Onyx LED screen with Samsung Audio Lab and JBL by HARMAN Professional Solutions speakers, the screen delivers up to 4K resolution video with the world's first Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI)-compliant High Dynamic Range which can achieve peak brightness levels of 146fl. In short, the screen delivers the most pristine whites and the deepest of blacks with a nearly infinite contrast ratio.
