As teased by Google previously on the new Pixel launch, the company finally unveiled that it is none other than the Pixel 4a. Contrast to the previous rumours, there's only the Pixel 4a so the XL version was nowhere to be seen. Anyway, here's everything you need to know about the new Pixel smartphone.

We're glad that Google is not skipping the Pixel 4a and the official look of the device had even appeared on Google Store earlier this month. As the launch of the device was probably affected by the pandemic, we've never really gotten to know about the new date of when the device is going to arrive. Now, it is somehow confirmed that the Pixel 4a will be coming in just a few days.

When it comes to leaks, the ones for Google products tend to be from rather official sources. For example, there's the initial leak of the Android 11 Preview and specs for the Motorola One Fusion+. Now it seems the official image of the Google Pixel 4a was also leaked.

We've been getting a lot of info on the Google Pixel 4a lately that we're inclined to believe that it is indeed coming soon. Ahead of the alleged launch on 22 May 2020, a list of specs for the phone was leak detailing its internal hardware. Now, the Geekbench result has also been revealed, confirming some of its specs.

Google Pixel 4A was supposed to be launched at the Google I/O 2020 that got cancelled earlier due to the pandemic. After that, no official announcement about the device has been made by Google until now, and we're can't really hold our horses anymore. However, a German site has claimed that the smartphone will soon be launched next month, and there's also an exact date for it which is 22 May.

A bunch of images regarding the Google Pixel 4a has been spotted on gizchina.com and shows not only a bunch of hands-on pictures of the smartphone but also the full tech specs it comes with. While not much is known in regards to the exact pricing of the aforementioned device, there had been reports stating that it could be priced at around 399USD(~RM1719).

Unlike many companies these days, Google tends to avoid revealing too much about what's going on with its Pixel devices. However, a recent leak seems to point to the fact that the Google Pixel 4a could come with 6GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB of fast UFS 2.1 storage.

So just a few hours ago, it seems that Google has cheekily started their advertisements around with the Pixel 4a. In fact, there's also an official price on it starting from $399 (~RM1696) which by the way, cost the same as the predecessor last year. This was spotted by none other than @evleaks at Twitter.
