Previously, Huawei Malaysia held a Service Day from 31 May until 1 June for their Huawei customers for free. Due to popular demand, they are bringing it back once again for today and tomorrow across the nation! Just like before, customers will enjoy a free out of warranty labour charge, as well as a free phone disinfecting service and others.

A few days ago, we reported the circular setup for the Huawei Mate 30 smartphone. The cameras were placed on the sides, top and bottom of the setup with the LED flash right below the bottom lens. Now a new render has emerged showing the same circular setup but the lenses are now arranged in an X.

Shopee Malaysia has announced the App Protection Warranty programme, which allows users who bought any of the selected Huawei devices (see the list below) from 1 July until 30 September 2019 from participating dealers on Shopee to get a full refund if some apps are not working. These dealers include the Huawei Official Shop, Huawei Concept Store, DirectD, Senheng, Courts Flagship Store and Satu Gadget.

Recent news that Google has stopped access to certain services and updates for Huawei on US orders has sent any number of Malaysians into a frenzy. The first thing we have to say is, chill and keep calm, the stopped access only affects future updates to certain proprietary Google apps and the upcoming Android Q. If you’re a Huawei device user, you won’t lose access to GMail or YouTube today (we used Google Docs to type this with no issues). We'd recommend taking a chill pill for now and seeing what else Google details in their official statement and what Huawei has planned.
