Previously, Huawei Malaysia held a Service Day from 31 May until 1 June for their Huawei customers for free. Due to popular demand, they are bringing it back once again for today and tomorrow across the nation! Just like before, customers will enjoy a free out of warranty labour charge, as well as a free phone disinfecting service and others.

So apparently, Huawei Malaysia has been doing a Battery Replacement Event for quite some time now. Starting from 8 April, the event will end on 7 May 2019 and no matter which Huawei smartphone model it is, it only cost RM99 which is a deal breaker.

In case you haven't heard, Huawei Malaysia has just rolled out a new EMUI 8.0 update for the Nova Lite, Nova 2 Plus and P10 lite phones. There are a couple of updates for the three phones, but all the same thing and mainly focuses on the user interface experience. You can now download it in the settings via Over-the-Air (OTA).

As per tradition of Huawei Malaysia, the company will be offering exclusive gifts to every customer who participates the Merdeka-Malaysia Day Promo Campaign. Starting from 11 August until 1 October, gifts will be available on selected phones, tablets and honor series with up to RM399. Check out the table below on what gifts are being offered:

The Huawei Nova lite has a glass front and back with a metal frame. Featuring a Kirin 655 processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB of storage + up to 128GB microSD support. It also has a 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 5.2-inch full HD display, fingerprint sensor and 3000 mAh battery. It is currently available in black and gold for RM999 from Lazada and SatuGadget.

Apart from the Huawei P10, P10 Plus and P10 Lite introduction, Huawei Malaysia also made a surprise announcement with the Huawei Watch 2, Huawei Watch 2 Classic and the Huawei Nova Lite. No price or release dates for these devices yet but we're told they may come in April 2017.

The Honor 8 Lite was announced alongside the Honor V9 in China today. If it might look rather familiar, that's probably because it had been introduced in a multitude of other names, which includes the Huawei P8 Lite (2017), as well as Huawei Nova Lite.

In today’s latest leak, popular Twitter leakster Evan Blass tweeted that the Huawei P8 Lite (2017) which was first shown in at the CES 2017 could be getting a name change in other regions, to be marketed as the Nova Lite instead of its intended name.
