Its Deputy Minister, Datuk Hasbi Habibollah elaborated that the system would simplify the process and help to solve the dumping of broken and old vehicles issue in the country.

According to the Transport Ministry’s Secretary-General Datuk Isham Ishak, the initiative would allow for the summons system issued by both agencies to be more effective in terms of enforcement.

Malaysia will be imposing a new guideline on the use of micro-mobility vehicles on the road in the near future, with the gritty details currently in the works by the Transport Ministry (MOT) and other relevant entities. In fact, the Town and Country Planning Department (PLANMalaysia) has today revealed that it it will present a proposed guideline to MOT soon, with one of the proposals being a speed limit cap of 25km/h.

Having to skip going to a government office and queue up saves a lot of time, so it's great to see that the Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Malaysia making such a move. Specifically, the JPJ has announced that we'll soon be able to renew our driver's license on MyEG.
