Since another two weeks of closure could severely impact several industries, the government has allowed certain sectors to operate at this time. Strangely, haircut services were allowed, though it seems some people aren't keen on the idea.

During these days, many business operations and constructions have been halted and the country’s economic status has no doubt been affected. To boost the economy, our government will now allow several different industry sectors to apply for permission to operate as usual.

Earlier today, Tesco has recently announced that they have introduced the Order & Collect service where you can place orders for essential items via WhatsApp and Tesco will have it ready for you to collect on the same day. However, it is best to note that the Tesco will only take the first 100 orders a day and you can only order up to 25 items at one go.

Based on a statement by engadget.com, it seems that Huawei is planning on offering their own credit card, similar to Apple's which was release on August of 2019. While it is not known whether the card will be made out of metal, we do know that it will be backed by China’s UnionPay and it supports features such as NFC for one-touch payment.

Donations continue to pour in from around the country to aid those at the frontlines and hot spots of the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia. Among them is e-wallet company Boost, which has been using its apps to help gather donations from Malaysians. Since it started its Tabung COVID-19 fund on 21 March 2020, the company has been funnelling sending all donations to the Ministry of Health (MOH).
