In this short announcement, somebody has apparently been forwarding fake news about people being fined for stepping outside of their houses. This is of course, ridiculous to begin with and there's more.

Just last Wednesday, our Prime Minister Muhyiddin officially extended the Movement Control Order (MCO) for everyone's benefit in hopes to minimize the COVID-19 spread. During his second live telecast last Friday, he also mentioned that Malaysians will be receiving their 1GB free Internet data starting from 1 April, but didn't say how. Just yesterday, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has initiated a Call for Collaboration and invited Network Facility Provider (NFP) and Network Service Provider (NSP) license holders to submit proposals for the 5G Demonstration Projects. The purpose of this collaboration is to test and deploy proposed 5G use cases in harnessing the growth of the 5G ecosystem in Malaysia.
