TSMC's 3nm chips will soon enter commercial production this week. As the primary customer of the semiconductor manufacturer, Apple could first use the 3nm chips for upcoming M2 Pro chips that are expected to power the updated MacBook Pro and Mac mini models.

Usually, a second Apple Event would follow up after the launch of the latest iPhone series. The second round would typically show the latest Macs, MacBooks and iPads but this year, Apple may not even hold a livestream event.

Apple has agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit by its customers within seven states in the United States in regards to defective ‘butterfly’ keyboards on its MacBook laptops. Filed on late Monday night in the federal court in San Jose, California, the tech giant agreed to pay USD50 million or ~RM222.6 million to affected customers.

In the earlier hours of today, Apple held WWDC 2022 to reveal some new products and updates to its software. For laptops, like the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air that feature the Apple M2 chip. As for software, Apple not only revealed iOS 16 but also a new macOS - macOS Ventura.

As previously speculated, the new Apple Silicon processor M2 was announced at the WWDC 2022. With the new processor, Apple also introduced the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro which are coming soon with it.

As chip shortages and logistics continue to affect the market, Apple is struggling to ship out the latest 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. The high demand for the laptop continues to go on after three months and the shipping dates got stretched in many countries, including Malaysia.

When it comes to big updates for operating systems, it pays to wait for a few weeks before you install it. After all, you never know if it would end up causing major problems like system crashes. That happened with macOS 12, but it seems like Apple will be fixing that issue soon with version 12.1.

Apple is always known for doing something out of the ordinary and the latest one would be the notch on the new MacBook Pro. At first glance, the MacBook Pro's menu bar seems to fit right on top of the notch but turns out that it isn't the case.
