Today, Meizu has officially made its debut into the Malaysia market with two phones - Meizu M5 Note, and the premium yet affordable Pro 6 Plus for a price tag of RM849 and RM1999 respectively. All Meizu phones will be officially distributed exclusively by Dynamics Distribution Sdn Bhd, which includes the M3s, M3 Note, M5, and MX6. Below are the official specifications:

Among the smartphone China brands in Malaysia, Meizu is probably the only one that has not really made their presence known when compared with the likes of vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, honor and Huawei. But to be fair, they have not set up any official Meizu store nor a branch office here, however, this is also a problem because that also means most consumers have no idea about this brand, so today, we're here to give you an insight of who Meizu is, with the M3 Note review.

When the Meizu MX6 was released two months ago, rumours have it that there would be another variant with different tech-specs, or an updated Pro 6. Meizu fans can now rest easy, though, now that the company have recently launched a 3GB RAM MX6 version in China.

August is the month of phone launches, as most companies are banking on pre-IFA2016 hype to gather more interest on their upcoming products. Meizu is expected to launch something on August 10th , and apart from their rumoured smartwatch, they may be launching an updated Meizu Pro 6 or MX6 but with different internals.

The Meizu Pro 6 is not even been half a year old yet, and there are already talks of the next successor the Pro 7. This was leaked after Meizu MX6 was released just last week, in a screenshot of Meizu VP, Li Nan on his remarks of the Pro 7 plans for 2017.

As promised by Meizu, the Meizu MX6 was unveiled yesterday in Beijing, China as the latest smartphone. Not only it was marketed for having solid picture quality, but it's also really thin as well measuring just 7.25mm in thickness only. We got the official specification of the full metal phone below:

Just less than a week before the Meizu MX6 unveils, Meizu's VP Sales and Marketing, Li Nan has decided to do some marketing of the device before the reveal. In his Weibo account, he shared a picture claiming it was taken by the MX6 which looks stunningly beautiful.

So it's official, the previously leaked date for the Meizu MX6 is not 16 July but 19 July 2016 instead. Meizu will first hold a press conference and then unveil the smartphone and other products which are not named. We also got two supposedly real photos of how it would look like, thanks to Weibo.

Earlier this month, we reported that the Meizu MX6 could launch at the second half of 2016. Well, that turn out to be quite true as we just got a release date leak of the reveal date - 16 July 2016 and the press conference will be held in Beijing, China. At least according to the leaked information. 

Earlier this week, we reported that a rumour about Meizu was planning to release a Pro 6 with Exynos 8890 chipset installed inside, now we got another interesting source of information because it might not be a new Pro 6 but Meizu is actually planning to make another new device with a display curved just like Samsung's flagship.
