For those who are familiar with the Flame Red Meizu Pro 6 device, another variant of the Pro 6 Plus image has appeared on Weibo and it’s also Flame Red, but brighter and “hotter”.

We have talked about the Helio X25 SoC before, which was used in the Meizu Pro 6 smartphone. Today MediaTek has announced two new models that sits in the same family line – the deca-core Helio X23 and Helio X27 mobile processors.

Among the smartphone China brands in Malaysia, Meizu is probably the only one that has not really made their presence known when compared with the likes of vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, honor and Huawei. Meizu has just unveiled their latest flagship device, named the Meizu Pro 6S. It looks like the Meizu Pro 6, and it comes with the expected design features and functions that you expect from a flagship device. What changed is the camera as well as the power juicing the system.

With the recent release of Meizu's new E series - the Meizu M3E last week, Meizu is apparently not done yet as they have just released a new teaser on their Weibo account, hinting another smartphone coming soon in September with a tagline "Pro than Pro".

The Meizu Pro 6 is not even been half a year old yet, and there are already talks of the next successor the Pro 7. This was leaked after Meizu MX6 was released just last week, in a screenshot of Meizu VP, Li Nan on his remarks of the Pro 7 plans for 2017.

So it's official, the previously leaked date for the Meizu MX6 is not 16 July but 19 July 2016 instead. Meizu will first hold a press conference and then unveil the smartphone and other products which are not named. We also got two supposedly real photos of how it would look like, thanks to Weibo.

Ever since Xiaomi announced their first phablet, the Xiaomi Mi Max, they have already received over 10 million registrations in China alone from the first flash sale and this proves the popularity and demand of the device. It was also only a matter of time that someone does a teardown treatment, this time once again from IT168 from China, known for tearing down well-known smartphones such as the Huawei P9 and Meizu Pro 6.

Earlier this week, we reported that a rumour about Meizu was planning to release a Pro 6 with Exynos 8890 chipset installed inside, now we got another interesting source of information because it might not be a new Pro 6 but Meizu is actually planning to make another new device with a display curved just like Samsung's flagship.

If you still remember last month, Meizu was on a roll releasing three different devices including their flagship Meizu Pro 6 which has the latest Helio X25 chipset inside. However, it has received mixed reactions from fans as they criticized another smartphone brand, LeEco is also using the same processor but with cheaper price. But that could be changed since there's a new leak that new variant is on the way.
