The Ministry of Health (MOH) today announced that beginning today (20 March 2023), you can book a government dental clinic appointment slot via the MySejahtera app. Implemented in phases, the appointment system would be available at all government dental clinics in Melaka and Penang in phase 1.

Mar 14, 2023In their continuing move to further expand the MySejahtera app, you may soon be able to schedule your dental health appointments at nearby Klinik Kesihatan Pergigian using said app. You can already schedule appointments for normal Klinik Kesihatan visits via the app.

Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni has announced that the government intends to turn MySejahtera into a digital public health super app. Moreover, in line with the national health service digitalisation plan, the app would become the national public health management tool.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that the appointment system on the MySejahtera app has been expanded to all primary health facilities beginning New Year’s Day (1 January 2023). This measure was made in order to improve service efficiency and client access at the health facilities.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin today revealed that a total of 252,767 individuals have been screened for non-communicable diseases (NCD) as of yesterday (29 September 2022). The figure was recorded in MySejahtera, part of several health features that were previously added to the application.

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has today warned against fake text messages from ‘GOV’ that claims to be giving special finance assistance credited into Touch ’n Go eWallet accounts. The commission found that irresponsible parties had manipulated the ‘GOV’ digital identity for fraud purposes and even used the MySejahtera organisation name to deceive the public.

Health Minsiter Khairy Jamaluddin today announced a change to the travel requirements for all foreign tourists entering Malaysia. Beginning 1 August 2022, all travellers, whether Malaysians or foreigners will no longer need to complete the traveller’s card feature in the MySejahtera app.

Yesterday, we reported on the new update to MySejahtera that turns the app into more of a health-oriented app rather than just being used for Covid-19 contact tracing. Called MySejahtera 2.0, the update was only available for iOS devices yesterday but today, it has officially started rolling out to Android devices too.
