Based on a tweet by @Gothalion on Twitter, it seems that the Nintendo Switch Pro’s tech specs may have been spotted, showcasing what seems to be the exact hardware of the handheld console. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date and local pricing, it does give us a better idea on what to expect when it is officially available in the global market.

For some Nintendo fans, a more powerful Switch console has long been something they wanted. There have been plenty of rumours of a Switch Pro too, claiming that Nintendo is already testing some prototypes and could launch it early next year. A new rumour now even claims that it could output 4K resolution.

It's been four years since the Nintendo Switch was released, and it was only last year that we got to see the Switch Lite. With that said, the Switch Pro version has always been in the talks but nowhere to be seen. That could change though, according to a news report from Taiwan.

With gaming consoles like Sony’s Playstation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X coming out this year, many are expecting Nintendo to release an upgraded version of its popular Switch console as well. Rumour has it, the Japanese video game company is actually planning to announce a ‘Pro’ variant by this year, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Now, a patent filed by Nintendo was spotted and it is most likely to be a new Nintendo Switch console, and we definitely can’t keep our excitement.

It seems that the rumours of the Nintendo Switch are becoming a reality. According to tech.sina.com, they claimed that the Wall Street Journal has reported Nintendo on preparing to release the Nintendo Switch Lite and Pro variant during the Christmas shopping season this year.
