The upcoming Nokia flagship, the Nokia 8 has come out of its shell again and this time on the popular benchmark platform, GeekBench with some listings of its flagship level specs.

The event is reported to be held in London on the 16 August 2017 in London and is hyped up as the ‘Milestone’ for Nokia smartphones; a really big hint on the rumoured latest flagship device, the Nokia 8.

Last week, we saw an unofficial press render release of the Nokia 8 featuring a Zeiss lens for the dual cameras. Now we may have our very first Nokia 8 model in real life, as leaked from the internet. How does it look like? Check the pictures out below.

Okay, so it seems that the Nokia 9 is not the only smartphone we should get excited. Nokia 8 is starting to show up consistently in the news as well and we got a sweet render of it, showing the new Zeiss brand camera behind.

HMD Global, the company in charge of the current Nokia phones has sent out official invites for the launch of the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones in Malaysia. The official launch is set for 30 May 2017. We're hoping that the new Nokia 3310 makes an appearance as well along with hints at the possible Nokia 8 or Nokia 9 flagships. We'll definitely be there to cover the various Nokia smartphones but until then check out:

A few hours ago, there was supposedly a new Nokia teaser video but it was taken down before it could spread further. Luckily we have our tipster Evan Blass backing up the video and posted it on his Twitter account. Let’s see what Nokia is planning in store for us.

Nokia’s return this year has been met on moderate reviews, after all they have only been releasing Nokia 3, 5, 6, and the classic revamped 3310 so far as entry-level and mid-range devices. But that’s not the end of it, as it was reported that there are still three more devices yet to be released, lets check out below on the upcoming Nokia upper mid-rangers and one premium model.

So far, Nokia has only showed us their mid-low range tier phones along with the revamped 3310 which was shown at the MWC 2017. There’s also a rumoured Snapdragon 835 Nokia phone, but today we won’t be looking into that as there are rumours of two other phones that we have not heard before.

How many Nokia phones will debut at MWC 2017? Rumours have it that it will be four which includes Nokia 3, 5, P1, and the legendary 3310 that will get a new makeup, however there seems to be a newer entry which is the Nokia 8, well, according to Jingdong at least.

2016 was an interesting year for smartphones, the year Huawei introduced their dual Leica camera lens P9 phone, along with Samsung’s critically acclaimed Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, also not forgetting Apple’s “courage” to remove the headphone jack on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus entirely.
