The OPPO Reno has long been a favourite for fans. In particular, the Reno3 series delivered more than what many expected. It has excellent photography capabilities and image stabilisation for videos, allowing users to quickly whip out the phone to shoot videos whenever they want.

A few weeks ago, OPPO launched the new Reno 4 series and it came with new improvements. So, what does the new OPPO Reno4 Pro bring to the table? Let's find out!

From the recent livestream by OPPO Malaysia, they have unveiled two new variants for the Reno 4 Pro. Officially dubbed as the OPPO Reno4 Pro x Christy Ng and OPPO Reno4 Pro x Pestle Mortar, both of these Galactic Blue variants have the same price tag of RM2399 and the pre-order is now available until 25 September 2020.

When the OPPO Reno 4 Pro was unveiled in Malaysia at the price of RM2399, OPPO mentioned that the device could help even the most hopeless photographer capture amazing pictures with minimal effort. This is because the smartphone comes equipped with several camera-focused features such as the AI Color Portrait, Monochrome, Night Flare, Slowmo, and Ultra Steady mode.

But this begs the question, how do all the features mentioned above help a “Potato-grapher” such as myself take Instagram-worthy photos? Let’s have a closer look at the OPPO Reno 4 Pro and see how the features work.

It wasn't that long ago that OPPO just released the Reno 3 Pro in Malaysia, then suddenly we got ourselves a new series called the Reno 4 series for you. Coming in two variants - the vanilla Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro, they both cost RM1699 and RM2399 respectively and will start selling from 8 August 2020 on their online stores, Concept Store, authorized dealers and telco partners.

The OPPO Reno 4 is set to launch in Malaysia soon, but the one we're getting seems to have a few differences with the non-Chinese model. Now, a new leak of prices for the Indian market suggests that the chipset could be one of the major differences. Allegedly, the Reno 4 Pro will feature a 4G chipset and may cost INR 32990 (~RM1871).

It seems that Linus Tech Tips recently reveal on their Twitter account stating that there could be another variant of the OPPO Reno 4 Pro with a curved display. While not much is known in regards to whether there will be a difference between this variant compared to the original, other sources have mentioned that it will most likely come equipped mostly the same specs.
