It's been a while since we had a report on our local telcos' mobile network performance. But Opensignal is back again with another one. The data collection started from June until the end of August 2023 and this is what Opensignal says in the latest Mobile Network Experience Report in Malaysia.

Today, Opensignal is back with another new report on the Impact of 5G on the Malaysian Mobile Experience. In this report, it's said that the Malaysian mobile experience has improved significantly since November 2022. This includes Availability, Download Speed, Upload Speed and Games Experience scores increasing both for 5G and overall.

It wasn't that long ago when Opensignal released its Global Mobile Network Experience Awards 2023. Now, we have access to its latest Mobile Network Experience Report 2023 and below are just some of the interesting findings.

Recently, Opensignal released two new reports about each country's mobile network experience globally. As usual, we will be taking a look at our local telco's performance in various categories. 

Since all the local telcos are on board (except Maxis) with Digital Nasional Berhad's 5G Single Wholesale Network (SWN), Opensignal could finally do better research on Malaysians' 5G experience. Although it's still relatively early, Opensignal reported that we have "demonstrated an impressive improvement over existing 4G networks".

We are entering the fourth quarter of the year soon but before that, Opensignal just released the latest report of Malaysia's Mobile Network Experience report. As usual, there are just a couple of key findings from June until August 2022, namely, Digi, Celcom and Maxis.

Yup, you read the headline correctly. We aren't kidding with this latest 5G analysis report by Opensignal. It was only published yesterday and we are just as surprised as you to find out that Kuala Lumpur is in second place in terms of 5G download speed (Mbps). The charts are based on Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC)'s biggest cities. 

Opensignal is back again and this time, it will be another Mobile Network Experience Report for Malaysia. As of April 2022, the data collection period began on 1 December 2021 until 28 February 2022. Without further ado, let's see what the report has to say.
