In a world where smartphone brands are increasingly saturated over the years, we have seen a lot of great innovations and unfortunate brands that went under the radar. However, I think it’s also safe to say that we are also getting a bit bored (or annoyed, if I might add) of seeing the repeated things of what phone companies are doing. Today, Oukitel from China has finally made its way to Malaysia shores offering Malaysians finely designed yet wallet friendly smart devices. The main devices that were showcased today are Oukitel K6000 Plus, U16 Max, and U20 Plus for an affordable price of RM999, RM889, and RM638 respectively with amazing battery life. Oukitel, a brand from China usually known for having huge battery power, has now established itself in the Malaysian mobile market by offering a new camera-centric smartphone - the U20 Plus featuring dual camera setup at a budget friendly price tag of RM639! While there wasn't any clear big event or device this week, the sheer number of announcements was huge with Vivo announcing their V5 (set for an official announcement in Malaysia next week) along with their X9, X9 Plus and XPlay 5 devices. The more powerful OnePlus 3T got announced rather quietly alongside the downgraded Huawei Mate 9 Lite while Huawei also announced the Huawei Mate 9 Pro for China. Check out the rest in the article.
