Today, a new POCO phone was announced in India and is none other than the POCO F3 GT. From the livestream, it seems that the tech specs are quite similar to the Redmi K40 Gaming edition so without beating around the bush too much, here are all the details you need to know about the POCO F3 GT.

POCO has shared more information about the brand's upcoming gaming smartphone today. Through POCO India's Twitter account, the brand revealed that the upcoming POCO F3 GT would be featuring a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and it will be one of the main features of the device.

Back in April, Redmi launched the fancy K40 Gaming Edition. It was soon rumoured that the phone would be rebranded to Poco F3 GT outside of China. Subsequently, Poco registered the device on India's BIS, so it's clear that the device is coming soon.

There are plenty of rumours going around about the POCO F3 GT (model number 2104K10L) before it is launches. Here we spotted the device that appeared on India's BIS listing and it might launch soon.

The POCO F3 GT is reported to arrive soon and this new teaser video posted by the company has confirmed the news. In the short 28-second clip titled "The next F", POCO has revealed that the upcoming device will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and launched in Q3 2021.

Earlier, Redmi had launched a gaming-centric device which is the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. Not long after, sources were claiming that the device will soon be rebranded as POCO F3 GT for the global market. Today, the device has been spotted on India's e-commerce site, suggesting that the launch is not far away.

Redmi has just launched its first gaming smartphone today. Not only the K40 Gaming Edition is packed with gaming-centric features, but it's also an alternative for those who don't want to spend a lot on a more high-end gaming phone. As the newly launched device is currently exclusive to the Chinese market, it makes us wonder if it will make a global debut in the near future. We might have gotten the answer as the device is said to be rebranded as POCO F3 GT for India.
