Things have been really shaking up at POCO lately. First, the company announced that it was splitting off from Xiaomi to go independent, then leaked images of an alleged POFO F2 Lite appears. Now, it seems that POCO may be on the verge of revealing the long-awaited Pocophone F2 series.

Based on a statement by Manu Kumar Jain on his Twitter account, POCO has officially split from Xiaomi to become their own independent brand. With that said, we will no longer be seeing any Xiaomi branding on POCO devices from today onwards.

When the Pocophone F1 was launched back in August 2018, it has received an overwhelmed reaction from the market for its specs and how the company set the price. Now, we’ve heard that the Xiaomi’s sub-brand is going to rise again by releasing a Pocophone F2 next year.
