The Redmi Note 7 was launched in Spain on the 6th of March and now it has finally made its way to our shores! The device features an impressive 48MP camera - which is currently the most affordable 48MP camera in this price range. At the same time, the Redmi 7 was also introduced as another budget friendly smartphone, along with three other new eco products but that's another story to tell. So let's focus on the two smartphones!

We’ve been anticipating the Redmi 7 and after several teases from the company’s CEO, the phone is finally launched. The device is currently the most affordable option in the Redmi family and features the Snapdragon 632 chipset and a decent 4000mAh battery.

Its official! We’re finally going to see the Redmi 7 launched in China on March 18 after speculations and hints have gone around guessing that the device may be mystery product to be unveiled with the Redmi Note 7 Pro. President of Redmi, Lu Weibing had shared the launch event poster for the smartphone, stating the launch date to be on the 18th of March alongside the first official renders of the device.

The Redmi Note 7 is set to launch in Malaysia on the 19th of March. Now, we’re hearing that in China, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is set to be unveiled and with it, another product. Lu Weibing, President of Redmi confirmed this news on his Weibo account.

Videos by Vietnamese YouTube channels Tony Phùng Studio and Dương Dê showcase the Redmi 7, revealing that the upcoming Redmi 7 smartphone may be powered by the Snapdragon 675 chipset. Both channels showcase the device in the colour blue which has a pretty cute gradient.

On the Xiaomi Facebook page, the Xiaomi published a photo with a giant 7 with the brand Redmi on it. It may likely be the global version of the Redmi Note 7 as the 48MP camera is similar to the Chinese version of the device.

Xiaomi is not wasting a single bit of 2019 and is starting off strong with an event tomorrow that may unveil one of their much anticipated smartphones. It is rumoured that the Redmi 7 or Redmi Pro 2 may be the smartphones to kick off 2019 for this Chinese company.
