The Samsung Galaxy Fold pre-order was launched just two days ago and within 24 hours, we have been told that the pre-order has sold out with a limited number of units (no figure was given, though). But I digress, for those getting their hands on the Galaxy Fold, they will have an exclusive Premier Service access. 

We had a chance to play with the Samsung Galaxy Fold last week and it was pretty epic. Sure, the price tag is pretty hefty and it caters to a specific demography but the innovation behind it is very impressive. Clearly a lot of people agree as the foldable smartphone is all sold out on the first day of pre-orders here in Malaysia!

Today, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is proud to announce the long-awaited Galaxy Fold will be available for pre-order soon. Starting from 9 October 2019, customers can purchase at selected Samsung participating stores and retailers at a recommended retail price of RM8388.

Samsung Malaysia has announced that they will be taking in pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone, which is expected to start around October of 2019. Not only that, chances are there will be a launch event for the aforementioned smartphone in the same month as well.

It’s been months since Samsung had withdrawn the Samsung Galaxy Fold due to malfunctions on the device. After a long time of silence, we may finally see the phone relaunched on the 6th of September in South Korea.

While we wait for Samsung to re-launch their upcoming Samsung Galaxy Fold, Samsung has apparently been hard at work on another foldable smartphone. The smartphone patent has the smartphone folding into a Z shape where it can bend in two places.

Earlier this year, Samsung had announced their first foldable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Fold alongside their highly successful Samsung Galaxy S10 series. Ironically, the foldable smartphone was a huge fail after the company sent some review units out and found the devices to be fragile and malfunctioning.

Many Samsung fans have been waiting for awhile now for the re-release of the Samsung Galaxy Fold - especially those who have pre-ordered. It has been reported that the smartphone has passed its final phase of testing with flying colours and may be re-released soon.

We’re all still awaiting the Samsung Galaxy Fold to be released since the disastrous news of how the device malfunctioned when it got into reviewers’ hands. Samsung co-CEO, DJ Koh admits that he had “pushed it through before it was ready” and “had missed something on the foldable phone”.

Based on an article by thelec.kr, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is currently in the planning phase and it should be available for purchase somewhere around early 2020. While not much is known in regards to the tech specs, the upcoming foldable smartphone is expected to feature an 8-inch fold-in display as well as S Pen support.
