Samsung today announced that it’s officially bringing Galaxy AI to more Galaxy devices as part of the One UI 6.1 update. These include the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets.

Qualcomm has revealed that its Snapdragon mobile processor lineup will be used by Samsung in its upcoming flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Moreover, Qualcomm also revealed that the Galaxy S23 series will be Snapdragon-exclusive, meaning that Samsung won’t be utilising its in-house Exynos chipsets for the flagship series next year.

The much rumoured Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is finally here and yes, it not only has a built-in S Pen stylus but it also features flagship level tech specs like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1Hz ~ 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and more. Previously, Samsung was expected to launch the Exynos 2200 chipset on 11 January 2022. When that didn't happen, some worried that it might not be available on the Galaxy S22 series. However, Samsung has now confirmed that this isn't the case.

Last year, it was rumoured that Samsung would be launching the Exynos 2200 soon. The company's new chipset was expected to be featured in the upcoming Galaxy S22 series smartphones. But a well-known source claimed that it may no longer be the case.

The 3D ToF sensor was something that can only be seen on Samsung's highest flagship offerings like the Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, the company has later decided to replace it with a Laser AF system for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Since then, the 3D ToF sensor can no longer be found on the latest Samsung devices. Today, it is reported that we will not be getting the sensor with the upcoming Galaxy S22 series as well.
