Just last Friday, a mysterious “Cloud 9” Exynos was teased by Samsung and even hinted that it’s “coming soon”. From this, we can take a wild guess that it could make its debut at MWC 2017 and it’s definitely a new upcoming 9-series from the Exynos line.

As we gear up for the upcoming announcement or teaser video of the Samsung Galaxy S8 for MWC 2017, serial leaker @evleaks has revealed fairly clear images of the phone in a case. While no tech specs were revealed, the images clearly show a rear fingerprint sensor beside the rear camera and heartrate monitor. It also shows a dual curved edge display and what appears to be an iris scanner.

Ah, Samsung, will the Galaxy S8 redeem the company? We sure hope so, after all the Note 7 was a good phone but unfortunately the battery compartment backfired. Now that we can move on from the issue, we are looking forward to the Galaxy S8 and rumours has it that it might appear at the Mobile World Congress and a small change can be seen at the fingerprint sensor.

Fresh after their detailed post mortem report on the exploding Galaxy Note 7 batteries, it looks like Samsung may be working with Murata Manufacturing Japan to supply their batteries for the upcoming Galaxy S8. Previously, Samsung used Amperex Technology from China but it looks like their main supplier of Samsung SDI will remain the same.

What appear to be press renders showing off the Samsung Galaxy S8 have surfaced, showing a very large screen with no front home button. Confirming the back with previous leaked images there is a rear fingerprint sensor located next to the still raised camera hump on the back.
