Based on a bunch of images from LetsGoDigital, it seems that Xiaomi could be working on a patent of a foldable smartphone with a rotating camera module at the top. While it is highly unlikely that Xiaomi will be manufacturing such as a device in the near future, it is nice to know that they are still finding ways to innovate on a foldable smartphone form-factor.

Last night, we posted that Samsung Malaysia was going to make a surprise announcement about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. What could it be? A discount? A new memory variant? Gold edition? Well, turns out that it is just going to be another pre-order sale (again) for this premium flagship which will start on 30 April 2020.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is one of the coolest looking devices in the market, albeit the high price tag is aiming at premium users. Since the phone is foldable, you can actually use it as a standalone "tripod" to surf online and watch videos, but YouTube wasn't optimized for this until a new update today. Known as Flex Mode, this will allow users to have a better viewing experience on YouTube.

Prior to the unveiling, there were some rumours here and there about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. We were curious, they were excited, then when Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Flip in February for the first time, the media went nuts. Like, really nuts to the point that most of the media were more interested in this one device at the experience zone. Oh my, it was and still is truly a beauty.

Based on Samsung’s official website, it costs about USD499(~RM2072) to repair the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip’s foldable display when damaged. However, if the aforementioned foldable smartphone was purchased before 31 December 2020, you will be eligible for a one-time special screen replacement which is worth USD119(~RM494).
