What a day at Samsung SEA Forum 2016! There were a lot of products displayed such as the Samsung SUHD TV with Quantum Dot Display, Family Hub refrigerator, AddWash Washing Machine, Galaxy TabPro S, new Gear S2 classic colours, and even Samsung Pay! Today, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. have unveiled and showcased multiple new technologies that focuses on smarter living for their customers in at the Samsung South East Asia Forum 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The new products that were presented by the company were – a new curvedSUHD TV with Quantum Dot Display, Samsung AddWash Washing Machine, a connectedSamsung Family Hub refrigerator, and a brand new Samsung Galaxy TabPro S that runs on Windows 10 OS along with two new Gear S2 classic colours in Rose Gold and Platinum.

The Samsung Gear S2 Classic is the more premium version of the Gear S2 smartwatch. While both the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic are being released today for RM1399 and RM1599 respectively, we managed to get some hands-on time with the Gear S2 Classic during the recent launch. The Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic smartwatches have been officially announced recently. Measuring in at 11.4mm thin the Gear S2 uses a 1.2-inch circular display with 360 x 360 pixel resolution. Powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and Tizen OS the Gear S2 also has a version with built-in 3G, so you can slot in an e-SIM and make voice calls direct with the smartwatch. While it offers new fitness tracking functions, the main standout features for the Gear S2 include NFC and compatiblity with Samsung Pay along with a 2-3 day battery life. Samsung Gear apps remain rather limited but at least the Gear S2 is IP68 rated (you can bring it swimming) and has built-in WiFi with Wireless Charging features. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet but we'll keep you updated.
