Today, Sony Mobile Communications has announced their own ‘Sony Xmas Wishes’ promotion that will be ongoing until 2 January 2017. For every purchase of selected Xperia smartphones, which are Xperia XZ, Xperia X Compact, Xperia X, Xperia XA, and the Xperia XA Ultra, consumers will be able to walk away with exciting gifts – just in time for Christmas and the New Year.

Sony has been innovating in the market with their phones, bringing in new features that eventually are adopted by their competitors, such as IP 68 rating and a great camera sensor. Their smartphones can be a hit or miss to certain segments of the market, so is the Sony Xperia X a hit or a miss to Malaysia's masses?

Starting 22 June until 17 July 2016, Sony Mobile Communications have announced “Celebrate Raya With New Xperia X Series” promotion that is in conjunction with the Holy Month of Ramadan celebrations. During this period, consumers who purchase the newly announced Xperia X and Xperia XA smartphones are entitled to exclusive free gift redemptions.

The Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra smartphones were recently launched in Malaysia for RM2499, RM1199 and RM1699 respectively. Sony Mobile Communications (Sony Mobile) have just launched their Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra smartphones for Malaysia for RM2499, RM1199 and RM1699 respectively. The Xperia X and XA will be available nationwide from 22 June 2016 and 27 June 2016 respectively but the Xperia X is already available on pre-order at the Sony site. The larger Xperia XA Ultra will be available from July 2016.

Recently Sony released an unlisted official video of the latest Sony Xperia X, praising its 23MP rear camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus. Both the Xperia X and Xperia X Performance will feature that very camera when they are released. The new Sony Xperia line starts from the Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA but will soon be available in the US in June. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet though.

Sony has finally revealed not one but three new Xperia X line up – the Xperia X Performance, Xperia X and Xperia XA, Sony focuses the new smartphones on its camera and photo features for the camera lovers. There are not price listed nor availability yet, but below are the tech specs:-
