Accordingly, the recent Chinese New Year celebration saw a 50% toll discount for travellers, and the Works Ministry has confirmed that this would be implemented for other festive seasons in 2025.

Getting through tolls on highways could soon be less of a hassle in the near future. Touch 'n Go (TnG) has finally announced the implementation of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for the TnG cards. Not only that, but the government has also stated that it will soon allow the public to pay using any digital payment provider, not just TnG.
