Today, U Mobile has established a new strategic partnership with TIME dotCom in anticipation of the accelerated deployment of U Mobile’s 5G network. Under the government’s dual network model, U Mobile will tap into Time's fibre network to prepare for its second 5G network rollout.

Today, U Mobile has announced a new partnership with Samsung. For those who are interested in signing up for the latest U Home 5G broadband plan, customers can also get the latest Samsung 4K Smart TVs, alongside a free WiFi 6 router.

Two days ago, hackers claimed to have stolen four million pieces of data belonging to U Mobile customers. It was allegedly sold through the BreachForums black market and the ransom price was $5000. However, it seems that the claim was dated.

Today, U Mobile announced that all of its unlimited U Prepaid plans - the U25, U35, U40 and U50 - have been upgraded with twice the speed. Not only that, the plans also feature higher Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limits at the same price.

Finally after several years, U Mobile has launched its first store in East Malaysia. located at Imago Shopping Mall, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The full-service store will provide customers with the complete range of U Mobile’s offerings and mobile digital experiences, such as U Mobile 5G and its mobile plans.

To continue building on U Mobile's U Home 5G broadband plan, the company just announced a new U Home 5G CPE Bundle for RM78 per month. But in conjunction with the launch, the price will be just RM68 per month for a limited time.

To enhance mobile connectivity further in Malaysia, CelcomDigi Berhad and U Mobile Sdn Bhd have announced a partnership agreement. With this initiative, both telcos will be sharing a total of 100 Multi-Operator Core Network (MOCN) sites across Malaysia, with each party committing to 50 sites each.

In line with Fahmi Fadzil's initiative to assist all p-hailing riders' financial burdens, U Mobile just announced its Pelan Pakej P-Hailing RAHMAH this morning. From the FAQs, the offer consists of a rebate for 12 months for selected Enterprise postpaid SIM plans. 

In this short news, U Mobile quietly increased its data pool for both U Postpaid 38 and U Postpaid 68 plans. Initially, the data pool was 60GB and 200GB but got boosted up to 120GB and 300GB, respectively. 

Today, U Mobile announced its U Home Fibre home broadband plan (previously known as Ultra Unlimited Home Fibre Broadband) is now available to over 1 million more homes. By leveraging Time dotCom’s (Time) fibre infrastructure footprint, the home broadband plan is appearing more in high-rise buildings.
