Hot on the heels of HONOR who announced their silicon-carbon battery recently, Xiaomi have announced their new solid-state battery tech. According to them, it can achieve an energy density of over 1000Wh/L for an improvement of 20% compared to current lithium ion batteries. 

A few hours ago, Xiaomi Malaysia just confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 Series will indeed be launching in Malaysia soon. The livestream event will launch at 2 PM on its Facebook page, on 27 February 2023.

Xiaomi has announced that their Xiaomi 13 Series Global Online launch will happen on 26 February 2023 on their Facebook and other official sources. Previously announced in China with the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, tech specs then included Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage from 3999 CNY (~RM2534).

The Xiaomi 13 series is again ready for its debut on 11 December after the delay. Before the event, the company shares new information about the devices with a teaser video. It shows that the series will feature a special material that is not only good-looking but also easier to care for.

Since the Xiaomi 13 series got postponed, Xiaomi actually decided to shed some highlights of the upcoming flagship. As we continue to wait for the postponed event, we got ourselves some new leaked posters of the front display and rear camera.

In recent years, Xiaomi has unveiled its latest flagship series almost immediately after each Snapdragon Summit. The event was held in mid-November this year, making it earlier than last year. As such, the Xiaomi 13 series could be launching pretty soon.

It seems like we can now know when the Xiaomi 13 is arriving. According to the latest information, the device is scheduled to debut on 1 December 2022, along with MIUI 14.
