After announcing the price of Mi 11 Lite for the local market, Xiaomi went on to announce the price of the Mi 11 Ultra tonight alongside the other products including Redmi Note 10 Pro Mi Fan Festival Special Edition and Mi Smart Band 6. The Mi 11 Ultra will start taking pre-orders from 8 April while the special edition Redmi Note 10 Pro and Mi Smart Band 6 will have the first sale on 6 April and 25 April respectively.

Xiaomi has officially announced the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in China starting from the price of RMB4999 (~RM3157) and RMB5999 (~RM3788) respectively. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is officially available in the local market.

Xiaomi has recently uploaded a promotional image on their official weibo account stating that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which is due to be released on 29 March 2021, will come with IP68 water and dust resistance. But that’s not all, the image also hinted that the device can be submerged up to 1.5m in depth for up to 30 minutes.

Teasers of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra continue to pop up daily, in the lead up to the big launch. The device is expected to launch tomorrow with major features, including a possible 150MP or 200MP camera and a new type of battery. It's also expected to feature a new cooling system.

A few days ago, Xiaomi finally confirmed that it will launch the two remaining models for the Mi 11 series on 29 March 2021. Xiaomi wants the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra to be "Android Kings", with other features to match. One of those would be its battery.

It seems that Xiaomi recently unveiled a new poster regarding both the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, as well as the Mi 11 Ultra, and how they will be considered the “Android Kings” when it comes to camera performance. The reason for such a title is likely due to the fact that the smartphones are the first to come equipped with a relatively powerful camera system which includes the ISOCELL GN2 image sensor from Samsung.

A few days ago, we got to see a replica camera casing of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. Obviously, it's unknown if the news is accurate, but the device may be launching soon. There are even sources that have claimed to know what image sensor would be used.
