Xiaomi has announced an additional 4GB RAM version of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone. This is perhaps to cater for those looking for a great bargain with the original 6GB RAM Mi 6 flagship device which initially costs RM1700-RM1800 in Malaysia. The new 4GB version will have a price cut with the end price being around $350, which is the rough equivalent of the Malaysian RM1466.

After giving a sneak peak yesterday, Mi Malaysia has confirmed that it will offer the Mi Max 2 and Mi 6 smartphones on preorder starting from 12PM, 31 July 2017 at the Mi Store on Lazada and their Mi Premium reseller at Queensbay Mall. No mention as to preorder price yet but it could well be RM1199 and RM1899 as previously leaked.

The Mi Store might have accidently posted a retail page on Lazada.com.my showing the pre-order prices for a black Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and a black Xiaomi Mi 6 briefly before being taken down hours later. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has been spotted to retail from RM1199 while the Mi 6 was spotted to retail from RM 1899.
