Surprised? We are too. HTC U11 is now the fastest smartphone in the world according to AnTuTu’s list from May 2017. The U11 has overtaken the Apple iPhone 7 Plus spot with an average score of 180,079 to 174,299, followed by Xiaomi Mi 6 at 172,494, and Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ with 172,368 and 172,359 respectively.

It is no surprise that big brands such as Sony would choose the best processors for their flagship units. Thusly so, the upcoming Sony flagship phone the Sony Xperia XZ Premium will come fully equipped with the Snapdragon 835 chipset. It just so happens that the same chipset is used in the latest Samsung flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. With that said, the Xperia XZ Premium has also recently popped up in the Geekbench benchmark platform so we can have a rough idea on what level of performance this phone will be on.

Just when we thought we would see the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus together with the Mi 6, Xiaomi only revealed the latter and many were left wondering if the former exist at all. Don’t write off that device just yet, because it appears that the device has showed up in a Chinese 3C certification authority.

Today, turns out that there was no Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, as only the Mi 6 was revealed in mainland China. The Mi 6 will be the company’s first device to use the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. It will be available on 28 April 2017 on Mi.com and every Mi Home stores in China. As for other countries’ release, Xiaomi announced that the Mi 6 will make its way to selected market at a later date. Below is the official specifications:
