A perk of having a Xiaomi device is that even its oldest phones still receive updates till this day. At least, until now. The Chinese manufacturer made an announcement on their forums stating 7 Redmi devices will cease to receive any form of software support.

Ever since Xiaomi revealed their first ever dual camera lens smartphone (Redmi Pro), we are starting to sense an inevitable trend coming on the way, as reports have started to pop up about Meizu jumping on the bandwagon, as well as Apple for their upcoming iPhone 7 Plus. As Chinese smartphone manufacturers are getting more reputable globally, they are now looking beyond configurations to stand out in this fierce smartphone competition, they have already nailed high-end specifications, now it's all about the design and camera quality.

Thanks to the dual camera lens on the Xiaomi Redmi Pro, it has gotten a lot of buzz in China and hopefully we can get our hands on it sometime in Malaysia (whenever it will be). Due to the success of the Redmi Pro, a new rumour has circulated around the internet saying that the device might have a small brother coming soon, it's believed that the name could be called Redmi Pro Mini and here's we got so far:

When Xiaomi introduced their new Xiaomi Redmi Pro not too long ago, I think it's safe to say that most of the people were surprised to see a dual camera lens at the back of the device, what's more, this is their first smartphone to sport such feature of combining a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor + 5MP Samsung sensor as well as an OLED display. But how does the camera work?

Today, Xiaomi has unveiled two new devices as speculated. One of which is the company's first ever dual-camera - the Xiaomi Redmi Pro that redefines the Redmi product lineup, also a new Mi Notebook Air as a lightweight notebook. In just less than a week away from Xiaomi Redmi Pro's debut on 27 July, Xiaomi has begun releasing teasers of the device and it seems to be focusing on the camera aspects. We get to see two picture samples from the Redmi Pro and it's quite unbelievable that it could capture such quality.

So it's confirmed, one of the two Xiaomi devices that are set to appear on 27 July 2016 is not a Redmi Note 4 as previously speculated, but a new Xiaomi Redmi Pro instead. This was found in Weibo as seen in the opening hashtags (lol at the direct translation).
