Aside from Huawei winning multiple awards at the IFA 2016, ZTE also won an award there in Germany for the winner of the 2016 IFA Product Technical Innovation Award in "Breakthrough in Smartphone Audio Innovation" by IDG and German Industry and Commerce Ltd, thanks to the ZTE AXON 7 series.

Today, ZTE is proud to present the ZTE AXON 7 on Malaysia shore with a price tag of RM1999 (inclusive of GST), it will be available starting today in Ion Gold and it's up for pre-orders at Lazada until 10 September, while the one with Quartz Grey version will be launch in October next month onwards with the same price. The first 30 customers who pre-orders the AXON 7 will receive an exclusive ZTE VR headset worth RM399.

ZTE's next flagship smartphone is coming to Malaysia with the ZTE AXON 7 on 1 September 2016. The AXON 7 will feature tech specs that include Dolby ATMOS and Dolby Digital dual surround speakers with a 2K AMOLED display, 20MP rear camera with OIS and PDAF. A company more known for their modems in Malaysia, ZTE has announced the world wide launch for their new flagship smartphone, the ZTE Axon 7 and its accompanying VR headset. It has some beefy flagship level specs, and even boasts some impressive audio thanks to a dedicated audio chipset. 

We have talked about the upcoming ZTE flagship, the Axon 7 before. We can expect flagship-level performance and build from the device, and according to a teaser video we spotted online, its slated to have great sound too.  

We have seen several ZTE models being sold in Malaysia in recent years. More known to Malaysian as suppliers of high speed and 4G modems, the brand ZTE is gaining traction around the world for high quality yet affordable smartphones to own. Their upcoming flagship smartphone may be something that the big boys should look out for, as it is rumoured to come with great specs, at a potentially low price. Say hello to the ZTE Axon 7.
