It's been a long time since we talked about the first Apple Store opening soon at The Exchange TRX. But today, Apple Malaysia has officially announced the date which will fall on 22 June 2024

News about an official Apple store finally opening at The Exchange TRX has been gaining some momentum over the past few weeks. Just a few hours ago, Xavier Naxa on Twitter X tweeted about the store and showed the Apple logo as the real deal. 

The new Apple Store has been a popular topic in mid 2023 and we just got more information about it. As you recall, reports have suggested that the new store will be located at the upcoming The Exchange TRX and according to a YouTube video, we may have our first look.

One of the major upgrades of the iPhone 15 series is the change from Lightning to USB-C, though the EU’s new law may have forced Apple’s hands on the matter. However, despite Android and iOS devices now using the same port, recent reports from China claim that users are discouraged from using Android cables to charge their iPhone 15 series smartphones.

Today, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reported that Apple is aggressively expanding newer and revamping Apple stores globally. We have already heard of the rumours that Malaysia will be one of the countries and we have gotten some new information about its launch. 

Apple has reportedly begun hiring employees for its first-ever Apple Store in Malaysia. This is according to reliable tipster Mark Gurman who said that the tech giant was spotted publishing job listing on its websites for locations in our country.

Apple may be offering an Augmented Reality (AR) feature on the iPhone soon that would allow customers to point at products inside the Apple Store and instantly receive more information about specs and pricing. The information will be shown through an overlay on the iPhone’s screen, with the feature itself to be embedded inside the Apple Store app.

Many users globally are reporting that the Apple Online Store are currently down in their region, though it doesn’t seem to affect Malaysia or other regions in Southeast Asia. Currently in certain regions such as the United States, the website is showing a silhouette of the company logo with the message ‘Be right back’ in bold.

After announcing that a self-repair programme was in the works last November, Apple has finally launched the programme in the United States. Called the 'Apple Self Service Repair', it will be expanded to other countries beginning with Europe later this yeart.
